1 - Incorporate Strength Training
When it comes to body composition (building muscle and decreasing body fat) strength training has been the best form or tool I have found to achieve the best results with clients. Please keep in mind, there is a particular way to structure your strength training for your particular goal - but with these details dialled in you can really shape your physique, build strength, improve hormone health and boost your vitality.
2 - How To Strength Train For Faster Fat Loss Goals While Still Building Muscle
By having a strength training routine with higher volume, shorter rest periods, longer tempos and more density.... you can really speed up your fat loss goals while building a physique that is more defined and more appealing to the eye. You can also improve your cardiovascular system with strength training by elevating your heart rate with methods that contain shorter rest periods and more density.
3 - Plan, Execute & Improve
At MPH we have specific workout methods that go for 4-6 weeks before it may change to the next program. During this time we are looking at fitness improvements that may include more weight, more reps, faster times etc. By planning it is easier to manage progress. I would recommend to have a plan that you can measure your own fitness improvements with. That way you know that your body is adapting and you are achieving the desired results with your workout.
