Here are my big 3 tips we use at our personal training studio to help transform your body and fitness.
Cookie cutter plans will not cut it. You need to either sit down yourself or with a personal trainer to map out your day to day habits and behaviours. What do you eat? How much do you eat? When do you eat? Why do you eat that food? How do you feel after you eat that food? These are just some of the questions to ask and I also recommend to write down the answers. Be honest and be upfront.
Once you have a baseline on your habits you can see where the opportunities may be to help you progress forward towards your goals.
You need to know where you are at now to know what needs to be done to go where you want to.
By mapping out your lifestyle you can also make sure you can have a plan that will help you be more consistent.
So you have a goal to transform your body, improve your health and fitness. Awesome! Now you need to change who you are to get something you don't have.... yet!
The be, do, have framework is a very simple activity that you can do to get started.
Be - Who do you want to be?
Do you want to be the person that is 10kg less and feels amazing in dresses when going out with your friends or on date nights?
Do you want to be the person that can take off their shirt, feel confident and proud with what you see in the mirror?
Do you want to be the person that can go to the beach with their shirt off without any frustrating self conscious?
These are just some examples, but write down who you want to be.
Step 2.... Now what do you need to do?
What do you need to do to become that person?
Once again these are just some examples. Write down some of the activities and habits that you need to do that may increase your chances of becoming who you want to be.
Step 3.... What will you have?
If you do the activities, what will you have?
Will you have more confidence when looking in the mirror ?
Will you not get emotional when you see your photos ?
Will you feel more attractive when going out ?
Will you have a better relationship with your partner?
Will you have better vitality and health so you can be better for your family?
Goals are great. But the activities you do are the only thing that matters.... otherwise goals don't happen.
We all need it. Theres a couple ways to get it.
One way is to keep yourself accountable.
One way is to find a personal trainer to keep you accountable.
