If you take a look at some of our before and after transformations you will see that dedicated clients may look and seem younger and more vibrant then what they did when they first started. Even though chronological age pushes forward... biological age I believe we can influence.

In this day and age there are so many products that promote anti-ageing. But it is my belief and also from what I have seen in the trenches that one of the best things you can do is look after your health, fitness and wellness.
The point of this blog is to give you my 3 big takeaways to combat the ageing process so you can to turn back the years and live life with more confidence and better quality.
Tip 1: SLEEP QUALITY & QUANTITY
One of the first areas we look at when it comes to lifestyle assessments is sleep. Why? Your sleep quality and quantity will influence detoxification, growth hormone, cell repair, stress levels and also hormones such as insulin. Keeping in mind these things are important to help you combat anti ageing. We will touch on excess abuse of insulin spike in a second though simply if you do not have enough quality or quantity of sleep expect your body and mind to age quite quickly as your restoration process is impaired.
Poor quality of sleep has also been linked to increasing chance of alzheimers disease. We need to clear toxins, repair and rejuvenate. If you impair this process, your biological age will be much higher, and you will feel it.
7-9 hours of quality sleep. No blue lights 2 hours pre bed is a good rule to follow with a wind down routine.
Tip 2: INSULIN
Abuse your insulin response and you will age much quicker. The hormone Insulin helps regulate blood sugar... but in todays society with all the simple sugars, carbohydrates and junk food that is consumed, this hormone is over worked and abused.
The world is getting more obese. To point the finger and blame a hormone such as insulin is pure stupidity from my point of view. Excess spiking of insulin can lead to insulin resistance, diabetes, brain damage, excess fat storage, metabolic damage, cell damage and extremely poor gut health. All of which can increase your biological age - making you look and feel rubbish.
Respect insulin as this will help you combat ageing.

It's all good to have all the information.... but to execute the information is a different story. You can read, listen, go to seminars and watch presentations or topics on ways to improve your health and fitness..... but the true magic is in making a decision and executing.
The world is getting more obese. Its not due to a lack of information, we are drowning in information. We are starving for guidance and execution.
Its apart of my philosophy to understand the difference of delayed and instant gratification.
You decisions now will influence the quality of your life. The instant pleasures may be detrimental to your health and as a bi-product making you age biologically much faster.
Out of all the tips, this is one of the most important as it will be the frame work to help consistency and compliancy with the rest.
The quality of your life is made up by the quality of decisions you make. Always try and make the right ones. You deserve to live your best life.
