Sarah is far from finished on her body transformation journey.... the reason we are showing you is simple: the results so far were too good to not share!
As you can see in the photos, Sarah has nicely changed her body composition. This has been a 6 month transformation so far in the works. The reward is a leaner, healthier and stronger version of Sarah.
The first step was to nail healthy and consistent habits. Having a tailored nutrition plan suited to your lifestyle is one way to help consistency.
A lower carbohydrate plan was first introduced to help speed up the fat loss process. At times if you hold onto excess body fat around the hips and back - a lower carbohydrate plan may be beneficial to kickstart your fat loss journey. Obviously following a deficit of food will be one of the many principles that need to be applied if your goal is fat loss to start with. Though, from experience the right macro manipulation can help speed up your results. Fat and protein were in the moderate to high ranges that made up the rest of the calories.
Sarah had done strength classes previously to starting at MPH though we classified Sarahs strength training awareness age as a beginner. This just meant there was a opportunity with our personal training service to teach Sarah on how to execute exercises correctly, stimulating the right muscles that were intended to develop. There was also a opportunity to teach Sarah how to progressive overload weights correctly. Paying attention to this will also minimise the time it takes to achieve results by creating a progressively higher stimulus the body needs to adapt to.
Above all.... Sarah has been relatively very consistent. Consistent with her workouts. Consistent with her nutrition. This is to much of the credit of her own determination and has inspired others around her to take action with their own health and fitness.
Once again, this transformation is far from done. We have some big goals. We are excited for the next progress photos!
