Do understand that not all clients see us for a dramatic "6 pack" transformation. Some see us to improve confidence, achieve a bit of weight loss and gain a positive outcome on their quality of life.
From my perspective this is THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP to do before looking at anything else, and it's very simple but sometime hard to do for some.
HAVE A HARD AND HONEST CONVERSATION WITH YOURSELF ON WHAT YOUR WILLING TO CHANGE AND WHO YOUR WILLING TO BECOME TO ACHIEVE WHAT YOU DESIRE
Some of the clients were at a time in their life where they had so much pain that they needed to make a powerful decision to make their life better. They had reached points where their body weight made them feel un-confident, sluggish, high blood pressure, low testosterone/sex drive or had doctors tell them that they needed to change or their health will take a greater down turn.
At Mind Performance Health our personal trainers help have that hard and honest conversation, we help be that voice in your head that guides you towards excellence, self improvement and transformation not only with your body but also with your health and mind.
As personal trainers it's our job to help outline what it will take to achieve what clients desire, the changes that must be made and the values that must be instilled.
After this conversation with yourself and/or your trainer a 'deal with yourself' is made, you have a choice to burn the boats and can make a powerful decision that not only will benefit your health and fitness in a positive manner, but sometimes can get achieved in a record amount of time.
I have seen people start with nutrition skills, training skills or they will buy gym equipment...... sometimes to only use it for a few weeks (or sometimes not at all) before it collects dust and inconsistency starts to come into play.
